2024 in Review

As 2024 draws to a close, I'm taking time to reflect on what's been achieved this year, and oh has it been a good year! Perhaps my favourite year yet...

Collaboration with FatFace

A very exciting opportunity arose this year, I got to create an embroidery tutorial and design for FatFace! To celebrate their launch with National Parks, FatFace commissioned me to create a video tutorial, plus Instagram highlight step-by-step guide, of stitching a night sky inspired embroidery design. This was so much fun to create and I'm so grateful for the opportunity.

I Got Married!

Although this seems not embroidery related - I promise it is! In Spring 2024, I got married, for which I created a tonne of embroidered items for, including hand embroidered wedding guest place cards, bridal party handkerchiefs, table numbers, embroidered pyjamas, plus I made my cake, welcome board and seating chart, and so much more!

Wedding Collections & Orders

Talking of weddings, I've created lots of very special pieces for brides-to-be this year, including table numbers in a variety of designs, and wedding favours! One of my favourite commissions included creating 16 mini embroidery hoops, with embroidered flowers to match the brides bouquet, for their wedding party.

Personalised Embroidered Tags

Arguably my best seller of 2024, my personalised embroidered tags have been a hit this year! First launched at the end of 2023, they've gained popularity due to their rich texture and easy way to add personality and a finishing touch to gifts.

Charity

As is always the case, I've continued to support charities and local communities this year. In 2024, we've donated to charities such as Sarcoma UK, Black Minds Matter and Anxiety UK.

Stitch Ambition has continued to be a member of Ecologi - planting trees and funding community projects to help tackle climate change.

Sustainability Policy

Stitch Ambition continues to focus on Sustainability - a subject very important to me so that I strive to help the planet as much as I possibly can and minimise my impact on the environment.

MAC Christmas Market

Like last year, this Christmas I had a stall at the Birmingham MAC, and I really enjoyed it. It was so lovely to meet customers in real life, have a chat and get into the festive spirit! I also created a large sign/embroidery hoop holder (from my wedding welcome sign!) which I can use for more markets in the future, which is really exciting.

None of this would be feasible without my lovely customers, so thank you so much for all of your continued support, I am so grateful.

I'm already looking forward to 2025 - I have so many ideas and plans for new things to create and to continue to grow the business!
