How to Repurpose Embroidery After Your Wedding

Hand embroidery is perfect for wedding signage and decor - it is completely unique to you, and can be customised to fit in seamlessly with your theme or wedding style. Once your big day has come and gone, what do you do with the embroidery left over? It's a shame to waste such beautiful pieces that played a big part in your wedding, so here are some ideas of how to repurpose wedding decor.

Ideas of Repurposing Decor Post Wedding

Table Numbers for Children Rooms

If you’ve opted for traditional table numbers that have a simple number on them, you could then hang each one in your child’s room when they meet that age! This is a lovely way to add texture to a room, and celebrate your child's age, after all, they won't be that age forever.

Place Names

Your guests will likely want to take these home with them at the end of the night, however if you are left with guest place names, you could frame them, or reuse them for birthday parties and other events that you may hold.

Frame Embroidery with Invites

Frame your embroidery with your invites and other ‘day of’ stationery. Use a shadow box frame to give any embroidery hoops the space that they require.

Gift to Family

For table names or numbers, gift to family as a special keepsake, for them to remember your big day forever. I love this idea, especially if your table names were named after things you love or places you've been.

Christmas Decorations

Add ribbon to the screws of any embroidery hoops and hang on your Christmas tree or on your door as a Christmas decoration - adding texture and enriching your festive home!
