2025 Review

As 2025 draws to a close, I thought it would be nice to review everything in the world of Stitch Ambition from the last twelve months.

Winner of Best Handmade Gift Artist 2025

I was named the Best Handmade Gift Artist 2025: Rebecca Page by SME News in the SME Midlands Enterprise Awards - awarded for creativity and hard work. I am so grateful to be awarded this title, and this recognition is a profound affirmation of the passion, creativity, and hard work I pour into every single piece that I embroider.

Muddy Stiletto Awards Finalist

In May, I was a finalist in the Muddy Stiletto awards for Best Lifestyle Store in Warwickshire & West Midlands! This is such a pinch me moment as it recognises my hard work and dedication, and I am really grateful to everyone that nominated me!

Wedding Orders

One of my 2025 goals was to work on a few more weddings, and I am so thrilled that this has come true! I've had the honour of creating lots of very special pieces for brides-to-be, including countless embroidered handkerchiefs and bridesmaid proposals, hankies made from a brides wedding dress material, and two large commissions.

One being embroidering over 100 napkins with guest names on - perfect as table place names and doubling up as favours! And a separate wedding of embroidering autumnal table numbers.

Bigger Pieces

I've also expanded into stitching much bigger pieces this year - one being this huge 18inch embroidery hoop! I've also worked on embroidering a duvet sheet for an author's art installation, countless A3 framed pieces, and a 14inch poem embroidered for a wedding.

Best Sellers - Personalised Embroidered Tags

I'd never use the word 'viral', but something happened in November which meant my personalised embroidery tags were selling like hotcakes - I embroidered nearly 100 in just 7 days! I'm so glad that they continue to be popular, and it is such an honour to get to create pieces that will likely be used year on year during Christmas time.

Charity

I've continued to support charities and local communities this year. In 2025, we've donated to charities such as:

  • Alzheimer’s Society
  • Endometriosis UK
  • Diabetes UK
  • SANDS
  • Young Minds Matter

Stitch Ambition has continued to be a member of Ecologi - planting trees and funding community projects to help tackle climate change.

Looking Forward...

2026 is going to be an exciting year for many reasons, kickstarted by going on maternity leave! I am so excited for this next chapter of my life, but rest assured that new embroidery pieces and commissions will be returning in Spring 2026!

I'd also like to take this space to thank my lovely customers for your continued support, I am so grateful.
